Family violence: responding to the next generation

Adolescent family violence has many similarities to adult family violence – but some key differences mean that unique responses are needed to adequately deal with the issue. Come along to this panel discussion to learn more about responding to adolescents who use violence in the home.

Presented by the Centre for Innovative Justice, and facilitated by Director Rob Hulls, you will hear from:

  • Judge Amanda Chambers, Children’s Court President;
  • Lily Anderson, international expert on adolescent family violence;
  • Jo Howard, consultant with over 20 years’ experience in domestic violence; and
  • other guest speakers.

These experienced individuals will share their first-hand experiences of working with young people who use family violence and discuss a range of innovative responses.
