Human rights in the age of Trump

In 2017, as atrocities continue to affect people in Syria, Yemen, Palestine and beyond, it is imperative that action is taken to ensure every individual has their human rights respected. The suffering of individuals in overtly terror-stricken nations is compounded by citizens in Europe, the US and Australia facing an unprecedented crack-down on their fundamental freedoms.

Emily Howie, Director of Advocacy and Research at the Human Rights Law Centre hosts Iain Levine, Deputy Executive Director at Human Rights Watch to discuss the protection of human rights at a time of great need.
